It came a long way since 2013, but there is always room for improvement.
Website
I continually update the website with new features based on A/B testing, surveys, and insights from industry trends. The challenge lies in balancing between what’s useful, wasteful, nice to have, or necessary. I’m fortunate to have supportive colleagues, so our small wins are celebrated as team successes, enhancing the brand's recognition.
Social Media
My role involves managing Social Media graphics, which often pass through my Photoshop expertise to make them stand out. I also handle website updates, as I'm proficient in HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP (with a little help from ChatGPT). I've even earned Elementor certificates to optimize our WordPress environment.
Design Systems
One of my proudest achievements this year was developing Marketing Kits. Last year, producing over 400 individual speaker visuals was time-consuming and inefficient. This year, I introduced a self-service tool where speakers, attendees, and partners can upload their photos, add their details, and instantly download branded visuals. This innovation saves time, ensures consistency with TechBBQ's brand guidelines, and enhances the user experience. Here, take a look!
